Born and raised in Cape Town South Africa Brandt relocated with her family Auckland New Zealand in her late teens. Brandt was found by local casting agents and was cast in the character of Naevia on the Starz blockbusters Spartacus Blood and Sand and Spartacus Gods of the Arena. As a result of her collaboration with Steven S. D Knight and Sam Raimi's producers, she was an instant movie star. She was a part of the cult Netflix show Lucifer that ran for a six years run as the fan most loved Vertigo/DC comic book character Mazikeen. Lucifer was a smash hit and broke the record of binge viewing and was named as the best shows that were binge watched in 2021 by Forbes. Brandt next appears opposite Andrew Lincoln in the limited Walking Dead 6 episode spin-off which will premiere in 2024. Also, she stars with Jason Ritter Anthony Carrigan Chris Meloni and Chris Meloni as Captain Fall in a mature animated feature which will premiere on Netflix the 20th of July in 2023. Lesley Brandt moved along with her family and friends in Auckland New Zealand in 1999. In Auckland she started her career as a salesperson, and then was promoted to IT management consultant. Lesley started out modeling after which she began appearing in commercials. Her graduation was with a degree in acting in 2008. In 2009, she started training in Meisner Methods of Study. Lesley Brandt's first notable actor role was on the TV drama series Diplomatic Immunity, which aired in New Zealand. Lesley Brandt is a supporting character on New Zealand television drama Shortland Street. She then appeared in the science-fiction action thriller This Is Not My Life, based on anecdotal Waimoana. Lesley Brandt played Naevia in the series Spartacus: Blood and Sand. She later portrayed Naevia in Spartacus: Gods of the Arena.
